The Swiss Red Cross organized a campaign that never happened before in his vast size: This time the blood donation service came to the givers, and not the givers to the blood donation service.
All through the summer, from June to August 2009, people have been hinted that tinned blood is scarce. vb communications was the chief organizer and charged cinnamon with the deployment of 50 promoters in all cantons of Switzerland to approach passersby and hand out flyers to bring their attention to the big red bus of the Swiss Red Cross. The pleasant promoters went along with the interested people to the blood donation bus, where they got more information by the healthcare professionals.
The passersby could twiddle the wheel of fortune and win different prizes. Of course they could also promptly donate blood spontaneously. This has never happened before in Switzerland. During the campaign the Red Cross listed enormous interest. That is why the campaign is already planned for 2010.
